Misalignment
Pipe misalignment which occurs due to deficiencies in design, fabrication, assembly, and installation practices may have serious consequences for flange misalignment, and gaps occurring between the process pipe and its supports.
Pipe misalignment also occurs after pipeline installation due to many causes including weight of pipe itself, internal pressure, wind and seismic, or pressure pulsations created by vibration sources such as compressor and pump.
Tozen flexible and expansion joints maybe employed to assure proper alignment as well as the correct installation gap. Flexible joints can be engineered to meet any of our customer’s specific requirements to accommodate offsets of pipe runs due to misalignment and available for all general application including severe movement and high pressurized environments. A variety of size options are also available, ranging from size: 15mm to 1800mm.
